Subluxation
Definition
The chiropractic term for a vertebra that has become misaligned or moved out of its normal position. It can be caused by anything from a minor slip or bump to a car accident or other sudden trauma, and a subluxated vertebra can put pressure on the nerves, blood vessels and tissues around it. Dr. Moe Abtahi at Family Chiropractic in Ramsey, NJ, uses gentle adjustments to restore healthy movement to the spine.
